Lifeworld International Member Registration—

 

Lifeworld International registration involves:

- Completing the Company Information and Account Administrator sections of the online application below
- Accepting the Terms and Conditions as set forth in the Terms & Conditions page of this website
- Providing the applicable Billing Information as directed below
- Payment of the Membership Fee described at the bottom of this page 

For any given transaction, each member may participate as a Buyer or Seller of products, equipment, systems or science. Depending upon its role, the registered member may be referred to as "Bidder" or "Seller" or as "Requester" or "Buyer".

 

 The entire registration in all its parts and acceptance of the Terms & Conditions in all their parts constitute an agreement for services ("Agreement") between the registered members and Lifeworld International. The Agreement is the official operating policy of Lifeworld International. The Terms and Conditions of this Agreement set forth the services available to Sellers and Buyers. To accept the Terms & Conditions, click on the “Register” button further down on this page. Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions authorizes members to participate in Lifeworld International’s Reverse Online Auction services via this website.

 

When completing the online registration below, Sellers represent and warrant that:

(a) The named account administrator has the full power and authority to enter into this Agreement on the Seller’s behalf;
(b) The said account administrator has full power and authority to submit the Seller’s bid to sell the equipment, product, technology or science for which the Reverse Online Auction was requested;
(c)  In the event the bid is accepted, the Seller, through its account administrator, will comply with all legislation, rules and regulations regarding the sale, export and use of any equipment, product, technology or science and
(d) The member has read, understands and agrees to the Terms & Conditions of this Agreement.

Conversely, accepted Buyers represent and warrant that:
(a) The named account administrator has the full power and authority to enter into this Agreement on the Buyer's behalf;
(b) The account administrator has full power and authority to submit the Buyer's request for an auction for the purchase of specified equipment, product, technology or science for which the Reverse Online Auction is requested;
(c) In the event any bid is accepted the Buyer, through its account manager, will comply with all legislation, rules and regulations regarding the purchase, import and use of any equipment, product, technology or science,
 (d) Sufficient funding has been secured and made available and
(e) The Buyer has read, understands and agrees to the Terms & Conditions of this Agreement.

The Account Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a member’s Lifeworld International account and its tools. The Administrator will attend training, setup up users within their organization and facilitate the processing of documents received from your customers. Generally, this person currently processes purchase order related details in your office.

Membership Fee
The annual Lifeworld International membership fee is based on the gross sales indicated by merchants on this registration form. The fee scale shown below has three levels, allowing small and medium-sized companies to participate as well as large firms. If a firm or government agency is interested in participating as a Buyer only, it is not subject to a membership fee.

Membership fees are payable upon registration. In a given year, if a member does not receive an auction request on which that member could have submitted a bid, Lifeworld International will refund the annual fee and cancel the membership. The member also has the right to continue the membership by requesting that the fee be applied to the following year.
